Japan Quake/Tsunami Relief via UMCOR: To make online contributions to disaster relief activities being carried out by the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) following the Japan earthquake, go to http://new.gbgm-umc.org/umcor/ . There you will find information on current UMCOR emergency response activities, including updates on the Pacific Emergency. The web page has a “give now” link that will take you to a page where donations to specific UMCOR programs can be made. The Pacific Emergency is UMCOR Advance #3021317. If you prefer not to donate online, checks made payable to UMCOR can be placed in the offering plate at church, or mailed to UMCOR, P.O. Box 9068, New York, NY 10087. Be sure to include the name and advance number of the UMCOR emergency response to which the contribution is being made on the memo line of your check. Since all administrative expenses associated with UMCOR are fully paid through church apportionments and other special offering during the year, 100% of the money donated to UMCOR emergency relief programs is applied to the program you designate.

WOW (Women Outreach Workers)
This group has a number of projects. Contact Nancy Osborne for details. WOW's 2012 Spring Salad luncheon will be in late April. The annual bazaar will be in November 2012.

Living Water Ministry
Living Water Ministries is a faith-based, ecumenical, non-profit organization located in the inner city of Hamilton, Ohio. A majority of the homes in the community are single parent homes. The meals give the families a chance to relax and enjoy spending time with each other.

If you'd like to be involved, either as a hands on volunteer or to support this ministry in another way, please see Regina in the church office.

Global Mission Partnerships
Through our connection with the West Ohio Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, we are partners in missions to the North Katanga Conference in Africa, the Oriental Conference in Mexico, the Volga District in Russia, and the Methodist Churches of Southeast Asia.

UMCOR in Haiti
The United Methodist Committee on Relief has been at work in Haiti since before the earthquake. They are now heavily involved in relief efforts. If you would like to make donation, you may do so at their site.
