Fall Marketplace is about more than shopping and good food.
This longtime Franklin First tradition brings people together through weeks of noodle making, cooking, organizing, setting up, serving, and welcoming our community.
The Marketplace is the Women's Circle's largest annual fundraiser, helping support ministries, outreach, and projects that make a difference at Franklin First and beyond.
When you shop, enjoy lunch, pre-order your favorites, or take home a bag of noodles, you're also supporting the work and ministry of our church.

The Christmas season can bring extra challenges for families, and Franklin First UMC is once again honored to help our neighbors through our Christmas Food & Toy Basket Ministry.
Christmas baskets are available to residents served by FACS (Franklin Area Community Services). Families wishing to receive a basket must register in person at Franklin First United Methodist Church on one of our two sign-up days.

Through this ministry, Franklin First and our community partners come together each Christmas to provide food and gifts to local families. Last Christmas, the ministry served 75 families, with support coming from churches, schools, local businesses, organizations, and individuals throughout our community.
If your family could use a little extra help this Christmas, we invite you to come see us on November 2 or November 9.

What does it mean to live generously?
In November, Franklin First United Methodist Church invites you to join us for "Blessed to Be a Blessing," a three-week worship series exploring how God's abundant love and generosity shape the way we live, give, and serve.
Together, we'll discover that stewardship is about much more than finances. It's about recognizing every gift God has entrusted to us and responding with grateful hearts. Through Scripture, personal testimonies, and worship, we'll reflect on the blessings we have received, how we can mirror God's generosity in our daily lives, and how gratitude transforms our relationship with God and others.

Discover the joy and blessings that come from living with open hands and a generous spirit.
November 15 – Reflecting the Generous God
Explore how God's generosity toward us calls us to be generous with our time, talents, and resources.
November 22 – Every Good Gift
As Thanksgiving approaches, we'll celebrate God's faithfulness and give thanks for the many blessings that fill our lives.
Join us Sundays at 10:45 a.m. in person or online as we celebrate how God has blessed us and how we are called to be a blessing to others.

This Advent season, join Franklin First United Methodist Church as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ through our worship series, Joy to the World. In a season often filled with busyness and distractions, Advent invites us to slow down, wait with anticipation, and rediscover the deep joy found in God's promise of Emmanuel, "God with us."
Through Scripture, music, the lighting of the Advent wreath, and meaningful worship, we will explore how Christ's joy meets us in every season of life:
Each Sunday at 10:45 a.m., we will gather to celebrate the hope, peace, joy, and love of Advent as we journey together toward Christmas. Worship is available in person and livestreamed on Facebook.

Gather your photos, scrapbook supplies, cardstock, stickers, and creative ideas and join us for a weekend of crafting, fellowship, and fun! Whether you're a seasoned scrapbooker or simply looking for dedicated time to work on your creative projects, A Croppin’ Good Time offers the perfect space to create, connect, and be inspired.
Enjoy 16 hours of uninterrupted scrapbooking and crafting time alongside friends old and new in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Participants will have plenty of table space to spread out their projects, share ideas, and enjoy the camaraderie that has made this annual event a favorite tradition.

We are excited to launch a Youth Fishing Club at Franklin First United Methodist Church for elementary and junior high students aged 5 to 12 years old. This unique ministry combines outdoor recreation, mentorship, and faith-building opportunities in a fun and welcoming environment.
The club is designed to help children unplug from screens, connect with nature, and build meaningful relationships with caring adult mentors within the Franklin Methodist community. Through fishing outings and shared experiences, participants will develop new skills, grow in confidence, and experience the value of community and friendship across generations.
Our first fishing event is scheduled for Sunday, October 11th, at noon. We will meet at Franklin First United Methodist and then head to a nearby pond for an afternoon of fishing, fellowship, and fun.
Whether a child is an experienced angler or has never held a fishing rod, the Youth Fishing Club at FUMC Franklin offers a welcoming environment where everyone can learn, grow, and enjoy God's creation together.
Join us as we build community, foster mentorship, and create lasting memories one fishing trip at a time.

Creating a safe, welcoming environment for children, youth, and vulnerable individuals is a vital part of our ministry at Franklin First United Methodist Church. We invite all current and prospective volunteers, staff, and ministry leaders who work with children or youth to attend our upcoming Safe Sanctuary Training at Franklin First United Methodist.
This training fulfills the Safe Sanctuary requirements of the West Ohio Conference and provides practical guidance for preventing abuse, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and ensuring the well-being of those entrusted to our care at Franklin Methodist. More than a policy, our Safe Sanctuary initiative reflects our commitment to creating spaces at FUMC Franklin where faith can be nurtured in safety, trust, and love.
A light meal will be provided. Registration is requested so we can prepare materials and food accordingly.
Who should attend?
Anyone who currently serves, or plans to serve, with children, youth, nursery, VBS, Sunday School, special events, or other ministries involving minors.
